Gearzza — An ecommerce website that brings a broad technology catalogue into one organised store, helping shoppers find products that fit their needs, save their choices, and move through to payment.

Gearzza is a technology retail brand offering smartphones, laptops, audio equipment, gaming products, wearables, accessories, and home appliances. The website brings these categories together in an online storefront, with product information, naira pricing, and contact options for shoppers who need help choosing.

When a store sells everything from phones to home appliances, simply putting products online is not enough. A customer looking for a laptop within a budget needs a different starting point from someone browsing accessories or choosing a gaming setup.
With more than 800 products across 12 categories, Gearzza needed a way to make that range understandable. Product discovery, pricing, and the steps towards purchase had to feel connected, so visitors could narrow their options without losing their place in the shopping experience.
I organised the experience around how people arrive at a buying decision. Some shoppers come with a product or brand in mind. Others know what they want to do but have not decided what to buy.
The homepage makes room for both. Category cards provide direct routes into the catalogue, while sections built around work, gaming, charging, and everyday use give less certain visitors a starting point. Featured collections introduce related products through the context of a setup or activity.
Inside the shop, the emphasis shifts to control. Search, brand and category filters, price ranges, and sorting let shoppers reduce the collection to relevant options. Pagination keeps results manageable, while a consistent card layout makes names, descriptions, and prices easy to locate.
For the visual identity, I used orange as the recurring accent against white, soft grey, and darker feature sections. Large product images give the devices prominence, while Manrope keeps the headings, navigation, and catalogue text visually connected.
I also considered the decisions between browsing and buying. Favourites let visitors keep a shortlist, and the cart drawer lets them check quantities and totals without leaving the page. Account sign-in and checkout then connect the selection to delivery details and Paystack payment.
Web Design · UI/UX · Frontend Development · Ecommerce Interface Design · Responsive Design
I worked on the storefront's visual direction and the interfaces that connect discovery, product selection, and checkout. This included page layouts, catalogue organisation, product cards, favourites, cart interactions, and responsive presentation.
Across those screens, I aimed to keep the next action clear while giving the products enough space to be evaluated.
Gearzza brings its catalogue and shopping tools into a consistent online experience. Customers can enter through a product category or an everyday need, narrow their options, save favourites, and prepare an order without starting over at each stage.
User accounts and Paystack integration extend the journey through checkout, while the admin dashboard provides a separate interface for managing the store. Contact options remain available for shoppers who need guidance before committing to a product.
The result is a store with room for a broad selection and a clear route through it, from the first browse to the payment step.

Colours &
Typography
Orange gives Gearzza its most recognisable visual cue, appearing across brand elements and key actions. White and soft grey keep the catalogue uncluttered, while darker sections give featured products a stronger presence. The same palette carries across the shopping screens to keep the experience familiar.
